My research focuses on formal methods, system modeling and verification, artificial intelligence, and computer vision. My work has extensively explored formal modeling techniques, particularly Colored Petri Nets and Timed Automata, for modeling and verifying complex systems, including business processes, traffic control systems, IoT controllers, and information systems. In parallel, my research in AI and computer vision covers deep-learning-based image analysis and classification, with applications ranging from biological image classification to medical imaging and cancer diagnosis. More recently, these research directions have converged toward AI-augmented formal verification and reliable AI, where machine learning is used to address the scalability of formal verification while reliability, domain awareness, and robustness are considered in AI-based systems. Overall, my research aims to bridge formal methods, AI, and computer vision to develop intelligent and dependable systems for real-world applications.
